Job Description:

Summary: We are looking for an experience individual and a team player to work with a highly skilled team to perform technical services as part of network core and implementation support team for a MNC financial institution based in Tokyo. The following sections outline our hiring criteria.

Responsibilities
Technical skill
  • Routing protocols: RIPv1/2, EIGRP, BGPv4, OSPF
  • Switching & layer 2 protocols: 802.1d, 802,1q, HSRP, VRRP, PAGP, IGMP
  • Multicast routing: PIM SM/DM, MSDP
  • Quality of Service: CBWFQ, WRED, WRR, etc.
  • Familiar with Cisco platforms: 28xx, 38xx, 7206, Catalyst 3750, 6509*, etc.
  • CCIE

    • *Experience with this hardware is strongly required

Skills/experiences required
  • English skill both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill
  • Strong report writing skill
  • At least 5 years of experience installing, managing and configuring Cisco devices
  • At least 3 years of experience with project management
  • Experience in network packet analysis using Infinistream/sniffer products
  • Experience in problem resolution and troubleshooting

  • An advantage if the individual possesses the following skill sets:
  • Japanese communication
  • Network security accreditations
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Unix/Linux basics
  • Visual Basic / Perl scripts

Minimum Expected Experience ( Qualifications: )

The ideal candidate for this position would posses:
  • Proficient communication skill in English
  • 5+ years experience in network industry working on Cisco routers & switches, Call Manager, and Nokia Firewall.
  • 5+ years experience in design and deployment of global large enterprise Network/Telephony communications systems.
  • A proven ability to design and support Network/Telephony Infrastructure.
  • Proven project management experience running multiple independent projects, within various countries in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Experienced user of Cisco products (CCNP, CCIE, and etc)
  • Experience in BT and Speakerbus system is a plus
