Japan Habba

Edkal was invited to participate in this year ’s Japan Habba also. Japan Habba is an Indo-Japanese cultural exchange programme. This programme is recognized as “Indo-Japanese friendship year 2007 programme”. The programme was arranged by Japan India friendship year Executive Committee, Doordarshan Kendra Bangalore, Bangalore University, Bangalore Nihongo Kyooshi-Kai and Koyo Japanese speaking group Bangalore etc.

The programme was organized in two phases.  First phase was held on 10th August, 2007 at the Raj Bhavan, Bangalore.  The second phase was held at Jnana Jyothi Auditorium, Bangalore University on 21st August 2007.

In both phases of this festival, Edkal has presented its talent; both on-stage by way of participating in various events and off-stage by way of co-ordinating for the success the events.  The efforts put in by Edkal’s volunteers were highly appreciated by the organizers.
